View full detailsAt Atomic Performance Products, the company prides itself on being an Australian manufacturer of specialized, high-performance engine components and long engines centered around the Ford "Barra" inline 6-cylinder engine. The company uses top-quality materials and combines them with a cutting-edge CNC manufacturing process, which is then hand-finished by experienced tradespeople. This results in engines and components that are of the highest quality and offer excellent performance and reliability.
The company's founder, Brad Girdwood, has over 35 years of experience in the high-performance engine building industry. He established a reputation for high-quality engines in the 80s and 90s at Brads Speed Shop in Sydney, and leveraged this experience to create Atomic in 2005. After witnessing numerous engine failures in the new DOHC Ford Barra engine in 2004, Brad and his team recognized the need for high-quality engine internals to handle the power of tuned-up turbo 6s. They set out to design a range of hard-core engine parts that could meet these challenges.
Since then, the company's range has expanded from one part number to over 3700 part numbers of engines and products, designed to harness the vast power potential of the Barra engine.
