Plazmaman RB30 VL Top Half Inlet Plenum
This Plazmaman bolt on ‘TOP HALF” inlet plenum is designed to suit Nissan’s RB30 Engine, commonly found in Holden’s VL Commodore.
There is plenty of clearance with this design to be used in most engine converted vehicles. CNC machined base with hand crafted dome top plenum, internal ram tubes and 5.5L capacity. All professionally Tig welded in house!
Developed to suit all street, strip, drift and high horsepower applications, with a capability of flowing over 800hp. By simply bolting this plenum onto the factory runners, and tuning accordingly, expect to see an increase in throttle response, and a power gain of 25+hp at the wheels at the same boost pressure. Thanks to the plenum design, air is drawn from all sides of ram tube, meaning the power gain is sustained throughout the entire mid and top end rpm range. The plenum design allows the factory throttle cable, and idle motor to be retained. Included with the plenum is a stud and bolt kit, vacuum fittings and complete fitting instructions.
This upgrade plenum is available for Turbo, and Non Turbo runners. Please specify when ordering.
The best part is, this plenum eliminates the factory crossover piping, meaning shorter intercooler piping and quicker boost response. Our upgrade plenum gives the engine bay that ultra clean look.
There are a few throttle body options for this plenum; Our billet XF Style 66mm or 72mm throttle bodies are highly recommended, both of these throttle bodies are suitable for street/drift/strip applications. Of course, you can choose to run your own throttle body, and we can design the manifold to suit. The 72mm Throttle body size is maximum size we can fit onto this inlet due to entry size of inlet dome.
These manifolds can be supplied in 3 finishes, Raw, Polished, or Powdercoated Black, for the stealth look. Fuel Rail sold separately.
